Chief Executive: Emergency Urgency Decision - Virtual Committee Procedure Rules and Virtual Licensing-Sub Committee (Hearings) Procedure Rules pdf icon PDF 122 KB

Under the Emergency Urgency Decision power, the Chief Executive has taken a decision to approve the Virtual Licensing Sub-Committee (Hearings) Procedure Rules and to approve revisions to the Virtual Committee Procedure Rules, which will allow the Council to conduct formal meetings virtually via Microsoft Teams. The Chief Executive has also agreed that both sets of Procedure Rules be added to the Constitution.

 

The decision was taken in consultation with the Chair and Vice Chair of the Governance Committee, the Leader of the Council (as Chair of the Cabinet and Cabinet Member with portfolio holder responsibility for Democratic Services) and the Chair of the Licensing Committee.

 

A copy of the full decision as well as the revised Virtual Committee Procedure Rules and the Virtual Licensing Sub-Committee (Hearings) Procedure Rules is attached.
