Action Taken Under Delegated Authority (Significant Operational Decision): Award of Contract for Procurement for the Letting Agent for the Commercial Space, New Town Hall
Borough Council is investing in new Civic Offices to replace the
existing Town Hall. Together with the new Civic Offices, a further
7140 m2 of Grade A commercial offices are to be developed and will
be available for occupation from early 2022.
As a result of the finalisation of the procurement process and following consultation with the CEO/DCE, the Head of Corporate Finance has exercised delegated authority to undertake procurement for the Letting Agent for the commercial space within the new Civic Offices building. Following the procurement exercise the contract has been awarded to the most advantageous supplier (Bidder 5), with the contract to start on the 1 June 2020.
