The Council started a public consultation on 3 September 2018 prior to considering the introduction of a Public Space Protection Order.  The Public Space Protection Order is aimed at preventing “car cruising” and other anti-social behaviour connected with vehicles.  Prior to making such an Order the Council must publicise its intentions, consult with owners and occupiers of affected land and appropriate community representatives.  To do this there will be an item in Crawley Live, which will go to all households, notifications in public places, and a questionnaire on the web site.  The questionnaire can be found www.crawley.gov.uk/consultation.

An item has been included on the Forward Plan for the Cabinet meeting on 21 November 2018, with the final decision being taken at Full Council.
