The Cabinet Member for Community Engagement and Culture has responsibility for:
· Community and neighbourhood development.
· Community engagement.
· Grants to voluntary bodies.
· Social inclusion and mobility.
· Town Twinning.
· Issues relating to travellers.
· Cultural and heritage matters.
· Children and young people (along with relevant partner organisations) including responsibilities defined under Section 11 (Safeguarding) of the Children’s Act 2004.
· Armed Forces Covenant.
· Arts & culture (including Crawley Museum).
