Crawley Borough Council is investing in new
Civic Offices to replace the existing Town Hall. Together with the
new Civic Offices, a further 7140 m2 of Grade A commercial offices
are to be developed and will be available for occupation from early
2022.
Officers have carried out a procurement exercise inviting tenders
for the appointment of a Commercial Letting Agent for the
commercial offices. The Letting Agent will be required to work with
the Council to market the commercial office space to achieve the
most advantageous and timely letting of the office floors with the
purpose of generating income for the Council to invest in services.
The Agent will also be required to provide design and facilities
management advice to ensure that the offices meet the Grade A
market expectation.
The procurement exercise has been undertaken with all the bidders
submissions being evaluated, with the scores moderated, to produce
a successful bidder. Due process now requires authority to enable a
contact to be entered into with the successful bidder.
