The Leader has made the following changes to the outside body representations within the Cabinet Member Portfolio Responsibilities:

-       Amend the “Sussex Police and Crime Panel” membership within the Cabinet Member for Public Protection and Community Engagement responsibilities to say (member)

-       Add “Sussex Police and Crime Panel (Substitute)” to Cabinet Member for Housing

-       Remove the “Sussex Police and Crime Panel (member or substitute)” from the Leader’s responsibilities

-       Add the following under the outside body membership for each Cabinet Member: “NB all Cabinet Members may be substitute for another Cabinet Member on any of the Cabinet appointed outside bodies”

These changes will take effect immediately and will be reflected in the Constitution when it is next updated.
