The decision relating to appointing a managing agent for the Crawley Innovation Centre was referred to in the Forward Programme of Key Procurements (January – June 2025) (report FIN/670) which was considered by Cabinet on 27 November 2024.   It was originally intended that the award of contract for the managing agent would be taken as a Significant Operational Decision by the Head of Service however, it is expected that the financial value of the tenders will exceed the Key Decision threshold, and therefore the decision cannot be taken at officer level.  As such the Leader has decided that he will take this decision to approve the award of contract following the appropriate procurement process in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning and Economic Development, Head of Economy and Planning, and Head of Governance, People & Performance.  As usual, the consideration report and decision will be published online and in the Councillors’ Information Bulletin.
