A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order for Beehive Ring Road (on slip) is attached.

Report HCS/29 states that the outcomes of grant funding applicants will be notified in writing. Applicants who do not agree with the decision will be able to submit a valid and detailed appeal in writing within 15 working days (3 weeks) of the decision. Any appeal lodged would be for the consideration of the Grants Appeals Panel.

During the administration of the new strategic grants programme last year a need was identified to review the timetable and period for appeals. Providing 14 calendar days (2 weeks) will assist with the awards process for the programme should an appeal be submitted following the notice of outcome. Decisions should also be made outside of any applicable Pre-Election Period (period of heightened sensitivity) where possible.

Therefore, on 5 September 2022, the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Public Protection and Community Engagement, took the decision to approve the change from 15 working days (3 weeks) to 14 calendar days (2 weeks) for Community Grant appeals to be submitted.

On 26 August 2022 Councillor Jones, Leader of the Council, exercised their delegated authority to approve the award of contract for asset valuation services to Bidder 1 as set out in report FIN/584 which was published on 16 August 2022 in Councillors’ Information Bulletin IB/1144.
