Following a rise in the national living wage which was made in April 2022, a minor amendment has been made to the hourly rate for dependents’ carer’s allowance set out in the Councillors’ Allowances Scheme in the Constitution.  Namely that the hourly rate be amended to £9.60 (10p above the current national living wage).

This will come into immediate effect and the Constitution will be updated to reflect this change when it is next published.
