The West Sussex Retail Hub project has made available grants for independent retailers in the area, to be used for the improvement and updating of shopfronts.

More than 100 independent businesses across the neighbourhood shopping parades and in the town centre can apply for the grants.  Retailers can apply for up to £4,000, and need to commit 25% in match-funding.  They must also complete at least one training module on the West Sussex Retail Hub website at www.westsussexretailhub.co.uk.

To apply for a grant, retailers should visit www.grantapproval.co.uk and complete an application for the Retail Improvement Grant Scheme.
