Minor Works to the Town Centre

From the week commencing 11th October 2021, Blakedown Landscapes will return to Crawley Town Centre to complete the final phase of the public realm regeneration scheme in Queensway.

The works will see decorative spheres being placed along the northern boundary of Memorial Gardens, in keeping with the rest of the regeneration scheme and matching both design and sightlines. They will also install a grass bund at the corner of Parkside (opposite the café) which will be planted with wild flowers, to match with the planting already in place at the main entry point into the Gardens.

Once complete, the temporary fencing that has been in place since the end of 2019 will be removed. There is no disruption anticipated to local businesses or visitors during the works, which are expected to take 2 weeks to complete.
