Action Taken Under Delegated Authority (Significant Operational Decision): EV Charging Infrastructure Network Concession Contract
On 24 June 2020, Cabinet (report PES/364)
approved in principle that the Council took part in the EV Charging
Infrastructure Network scheme, led by WSCC. A competitive single
procurement exercise, led by West Sussex County Council and
including Crawley Borough Council, Horsham District Council, Mid
Sussex District Council, Arun District
Council, Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council has now
been undertaken in accordance with the Public Concession Contracts
Regulations 2016 (& the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) to
award a contract for the West Sussex Electric Vehicle Charge-point
Action Taken Under Delegated Powers: Additional Delegation
The Leader of the Council, using his executive rights, has agreed the following delegation to the Cabinet member for Public Protection and Community Engagement:
“To decide whether to reinstate the small grants programme”.
This delegation takes immediate effect.
