Crawley Borough Council has successfully bid for funding to extend the

Government’s Green Home Grant, Local Authority Delivery Scheme (LAD) scheme across West Sussex.

Residents can apply for this funding if:

·        they have a household income of less than£30,000

·        their home has a low energy efficiency rating (G, F, E or Drating)

Eligible residents in the Crawley borough could receive fully funded support of up to

£10,000 for energy efficiency improvements in their homes. The funding can be used for a range of energy efficiency improvements and low carbon heating measures, including:

·        Solid Wall Insulation

·        Low Carbon Heating

·        Solar PV panels

·        Smart Heating Controls andmore.

As part of the Local Authority Delivery Scheme, private and social landlords will be able to access up to £5,000 with a one-third contribution.

This scheme is operating on a first-come, first-served basis and until September 2021.
