Change in Membership: Climate Change Scrutiny Panel

In accordance with Paragraph 25.2(4) of the Council Procedure Rules contained within the Constitution, and in concurrence with the wishes of the political group, the Head of Legal, Democracy and HR has actioned that Councillor Fiveash will replace Councillor Jhans on the Climate Change Scrutiny Panel with immediate effect.

Action Taken Under Delegated Authority (Significant Operational Decision): Local Plan 2020 - 2035 Submission Draft Factual Update for Consultation and Supporting and Technical Evidence Base

The 27 November 2019 Cabinet approved the delegation of factual amendments to the Local Plan necessary in accordance with national policy to the Head of Economy and Planning (paragraph 2.2(a)(i), Submission Crawley Local Plan 2020 – 2035 Cabinet Report: PES/336).

 

Since the Cabinet version of the Local Plan was prepared, a number of amendments have been made to the text of the Local Plan document by the Head of Economy and Planning. These are all “factual and necessary in accordance with national policy”.

 

In addition, Cabinet approved the delegation of the approval of the supporting documents for the Local Plan and technical evidence base documents to support the Local Plan through Examination to the Head of Economy and Planning (paragraph 2.2(a)(iii), Submission Crawley Local Plan 2020 – 2035 Cabinet Report: PES/336).
