The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order for Worth Park Avenue (Eastbound) is attached.

The Council’s Lifeline service and sheltered housing service requires a 24 hour/365 day monitoring service to receive calls from the Lifeline or sheltered alarms when activated in an emergency.

In March 2019 the service arrangement changed from a local authority one to a commercial one.

Notice of the decision was originally published as a Cabinet decision to be taken on 27 November 2019, however, as the contract value falls below the threshold for Cabinet decision, it has been taken by an officer as a Significant Operational Decision.

The procurement exercise took place and five contractors returned tenders.  On 14 November 2019 the Head of Crawley Homes, in consultation with the Deputy Chief Executive awarded the contract to the bidder who submitted the most economically advantageous tender.

Subject to a voluntary standstill period the contract will be awarded to commence 1 April 2020.
