The Leader has made the following changes to the Cabinet Member Portfolio Responsibilities in his Scheme of Delegation:

·         Leader’s Portfolio Responsibilities:

Insert the following wording below “Chair of the Cabinet”:

“When circumstances dictate that a Cabinet Member is unable to carry out their responsibilities, the Leader will either deputise in their place or temporarily allocate their responsibilities to an another Cabinet Member.”

·         Cabinet Member for Resources’ Portfolio Responsibilities:

Insert the following wording at the beginning of the responsibilities:

“The Leader will be covering this Portfolio when necessary.”

These changes take effect immediately and will be reflected in the Constitution when it is next updated.
