Councillor Stephen Joyce, Cabinet Member for Housing, exercised authority in accordance with the Constitution on 17 January 2018 to approve the changes to properties held within the Housing Revenue Account as set out in the consideration report included in Councillors’ Information Bulletin IB/905.

Councillor Peter Lamb, as Leader of the Council, exercised delegated authority in accordance with the Constitution on 10 January 2018 to approve the transfer of S106 monies to West Sussex County Council for the provision of highway works at the junction of Ifield Drive and Ifield Avenue as set out in the consideration report included in Councillors’ Information Bulletin IB/905.

On 17 January 2018, in accordance with Delegation 7 of the Head of Strategic Housing and Planning’s Sub Delegation Scheme, the Head of Strategic Housing and Planning in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing has exercised delegated authority to approve a minor amendment to the Housing Allocations Scheme to redirect the allocation of up to 5 move on homes from the Southwell Housing Project (who no longer require them), to Camfield, a local hostel for single people in Crawley.  In return, the Council will benefit from 100% nomination rights to the vacancy created at Camfield for homeless applicants who apply for assistance via the Housing Options Service.
