Purpose:

Various changes have been made to the Council's Corporate Complaints Policy to reflect and incorporate changes made by the LGSCO and the Housing Ombudsman following their joint consultation.

Decision:

To agree the changes to the Corporate Complaints Policy which will be published on the council's website.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - Make the necessary changes to the Council's Corporate Complaints Policy to ensure compliance with the LGSCO and Housing Ombudsman's complaint handling codes effective from the 1 April 2024.
Option 2 - No changes and the current policy remains unchanged.
